Everything about this place blew us away and we wish we could have stayed longer; we felt privileged to be one of the few guests and the team went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. A special shout‑out to our guide Lucas, whose passion for wildlife made the experience unforgettable. Jeffrey, our tracker, executed the game‑drive pair perfectly. We hope to see them again and strongly recommend booking games with them.

The lodge is absolutely stunning, with elegant suites and tasteful African‑inspired art everywhere. Our game drives with Julian were the highlight: he was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and full of fascinating stories about wildlife and South Africa. Food and service were world‑class, and the wine selection was great. The fitness and spa area is quite small and could use renovation and newer equipment.

Everything was amazing—staff, food, rooms, views, and the guides/trackers all exceeded our expectations. Because there are only eight cottages, you get to meet all your fellow travelers.

Everyone was welcoming and attentive; the rooms were unique, functional, and beautiful, and the food was wonderful. The safari drives were both informative and fun, with Julian as our driver and Hervert as our scout—both awesome. Richmond, the butler, took care of every need, while Molly, Pfume, Pretty, Chef, Kevin, Mary, and even Colin, the manager, ensured we felt comfortable, safe, and well cared for. We saw the big 5 in two days, getting within feet of them, and this trip will stay etched in our memories forever.
