“Jättemysigt läge och trevlig personal.”
The staff were charming, and even though the restaurant was fully booked, they managed to serve us food; the bar had good drinks too. The noise from the corridor and the rooms was quite loud.

The rooms were nice with a small balcony, but there was no AC, and the temperature outside and inside was over 30 °C.

Everything was fantastic: a warm welcome from the staff, a wonderful room with a lovely view, a nice setting, comfortable beds, quiet and still, and delicious food.

We stayed twice at Albert's and dined at the high‑altitude restaurant overlooking the evening view number 2 (closed on Mondays). The food was lovely, and the breakfast buffet matched that quality. The staff were fantastic, especially at reception. We began in a standard double room that was fine, but wanted to upgrade to a room on the other side of the hotel facing Göta River. We were offered a suite for a very reasonable price, and it was amazing—plenty of space, great facilities, stunning view, and a private balcony. Many film stars and renowned filmmakers from around the world have stayed here, and their greetings and autographs hang in framed displays in the hallways. The hotel is set in quiet surroundings with forest and park nearby. We brought MTB bikes in the car, rode around Trollhättan during the day, and explored the city’s lock system from a bike seat. The hotel issues bike passes. We were allowed to park for free for a few hours after check‑out. Overall, a wonderful experience at Albert's, and we’ll gladly return. The only downside was the distant traffic from Trollhättan’s center audible from the terrace, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.
