The accommodation is tastefully decorated and the breakfast is delicious (toasties). The location is perfect for visiting the peninsula. Don’t miss the walk on Shark Island with the explanation of the Namas genocide.

Nice location, friendly staff, refrigerator (although not mentioned in the description, it does hum loudly), the water pressure in the shower is good, breakfast was fine. Too expensive, ants in the room, musty smell and mold in the shower, bed very small, hard and creaky, no air conditioning, no heating (room currently cold), only a very weak fan to cool, sheets and bedspread damp, curtains translucent and cream-colored so it’s bright at night due to exterior lighting, no outlet in the bathroom, people constantly walk by the bathroom windows, extremely noisy (including showers, toilet flush and conversations from adjacent rooms), totally old-fashioned and out of date, no one at the reception in the evenings to discuss issues, poor Wi‑Fi, by far the worst accommodation so far, the positive reviews are unconvincing, I was awake the whole half‑night.

“Great value for an overnight stay and a lovely welcome.”

Welcoming, clean, great view, comfy bed and very good value for money. The shower temperature was a little difficult to control as the water was very hot
