“Se nos ha hecho muy corto….”
The location is spectacular; after a somewhat tricky walk, finding the hotel felt like a dream. The décor is tasteful and preserves the building’s history. We received an upgrade and I recommend dining at the hotel – the dinner was delicious with great views, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was also good. The path to the hotel isn’t easy; the forest trail is partly paved and partly unpaved.

The place exudes tranquility, and the whole family managed to connect with nature. The staff were very attentive and helpful. One day I had to shower with cold water because hot water wasn’t available, probably because all guests were showering around the same time (before dinner). The advertising mentioned a year‑round heated pool powered by solar panels, and I mistakenly thought we could use it during Holy Week; I didn’t know the hotel’s exact location, but now I understand that we might be able to swim in the summer months.
The place is amazing and peaceful.
Das Essen ist generell HERVORRAGEND. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und kriegten die volle Aufmerksamkeit des Personals. Der Pool ist top und das Haus ist absolut einzigartig. Man ist völlig in der Natur und trotzdem erlebt man Luxus pur!. Allenfalls die Zufahrt könnte für gewisse Leute etwas abenteuerlich sein. Sportwagen oder Sportmotorräder werden etwas Mühe haben zum Hotel zu kommen ;-)
“Una estancia decepcionante, con servicios deficientes y una relación calidad‑precio injustificada”
La amabilidad del servicio, gracias por tu trato super amable Paola. Sinceramente, no sé si fue mala suerte, pero los servicios de la habitación Rafalés dejaron mucho que desear. Entre otros problemas, el agua caliente no llegaba a la habitación y el secador no funcionaba, por lo que tuve que ducharme con agua fría y quedarme con el pelo completamente mojado. La experiencia, como es de imaginar, no fue nada agradable. La cama tampoco ofrecía comodidad: el colchón era extremadamente duro, el somier estaba tan flojo que se movía en exceso cada vez que te girabas, y los cabeceros ni siquiera estaban anclados a la pared. Para una habitación de más de 250 € por noche esperaba un nivel de servicio muy superior. Se echan en falta detalles básicos en establecimientos de este precio, como una mini nevera para conservar agua fría o una cafetera tipo Nespresso (o al menos un calentador de agua) para poder tomar un café o un té, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que el hotel está aislado y no dispone de servicio de bar. En conjunto, la relación calidad‑precio fue decepcionante y creo que el hotel debería revisar tanto sus instalaciones como los servicios que ofrece
