“Very bad”
Honestly, don’t come here unless you are on a very strict budget. The hotel is a small complex of wooden cabins , a small bar and a small restaurant, nothing more. Location: even if not beachfront it’s very close to Abu Dabbab beach, the beach itself is nice and the reef is beautiful. Access to the beach and sunbeds are free for the clients of the hotel Rooms: very old, dirty towels and old bedsheets (ours had holes in them) and a strong smell of naphthaline. The air conditioned worked, but the noise was so strong I had to sleep with earplugs. Bathroom had no water for one full day and was smelling like sewage. Food: it’s not a restaurant but more like a canteen. Every day the same food, only changing between curry chicken / fried chicken / roasted chicken. The food itself was not bad but it was literally every day the same and only had 1-2 different options. WiFi: NON EXISTENT in the rooms, which was a surprise when we arrived and the staff doesn’t warn about it. When we complained, they kept telling us that they were “trying to fix it” until they finally admitted in our last day that there was no WiFi coverage in the rooms but only close to the reception. Services: absent. All the activities and snorkeling/divimg tours are dealt with the diving center at the beach, the hotel doesn’t offer a single thing. Good point: very quiet at night and during the day, since there is nothing around To sum up, it’s a decent stay only if you are on a very strict budget and you don’t really care about hotel comfort or food choice. It’s a cheap option that allows you to visit one of the best reefs, which is accessible directly from the beach and not by a pier
