Hotel Las Caobas

The coffee was excellent, and the pool was a nice touch. I ordered shrimp in garlic butter with potatoes, but it was terribly under‑salted and over‑buttery. The breakfast lacked salt too. They really need to tweak the seasoning on their food.

“Confortable”

There was little variety at breakfast and the presentation was poor. The office closed too late for guests who go to bed early.

The staff were very friendly, but they are short‑handed and if you dine with more than two people everyone ends up eating at different times because they can’t bring out four plates together; the breakfast was one of the saddest I’ve ever had, though the personnel remained very kind.

“Sicher eine der bessern Optionen in SFM aber ... outdated”

The hotel is a bit outside the tight city centre, which makes it very quiet, and the grounds are spacious. The staff are pleasant. The furnishings feel outdated; in my last room there was no detachable shower head, only a fixed one that didn’t suit my height. The mattresses were old, the plastic mattress cover was thin and constantly slipped off, making it uncomfortable.

“Si ves este hotel, pensa dos veces antes de reservar”

The staff were decent, but the sheets, pillows, and everything else felt a bit old. The pool filters made noise, the Wi‑Fi quality was poor, and the breakfast was terrible… overall, I wouldn’t return.
