“安宿なので何も期待すべきでは無い。”

The place had a decent location, just right for waiting for the late GOBUS flight; however, it was very dirty, and after only a few hours of sleep I was bitten by bed bugs, and the lighting was poor and dark. Climbing four flights of stairs was a hassle, and the location was confusing with no sign at the entrance, so I struggled to find it. I could enter the building next to a glass‑fronted shop, but if I hadn’t had help from a local, it would have taken longer (see attached photo, left side is the entrance). The Japanese‑style vibe I expected from the pictures is no longer there, so it was disappointing.

The accommodation was inexpensive in Cairo, which was handy, but the room was shared; the front‑desk staff weren’t present all the time, so I couldn’t order breakfast before leaving.

The staff were unfriendly and annoyed; the place was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen, with insects crawling all over me, and I wouldn’t stay there even if someone paid me.

They cancelled my reservation, there’s no elevator, and the building on the seventh floor was very dirty.
