“Excellent Long Weekend Getaway”

The property itself is gorgeous, with rolling hills, planned flower beds, a thriving vegetable garden, and a pond. The Scarlet Oak room was well furnished, clean, and comfortable. Breakfasts were tasty and plentiful enough to sustain us until a quick lunch. The homemade jams were a nice bonus. The hosts, Nate and Theresa, were wonderful—easy to talk to, attentive, and had a relaxed, folksy vibe. The only drawback was the bathroom, which was very small, but it didn’t take away from the positives.

“Perfect B&B for a Ski or Anytime Getaway!”

We adored the old‑fashioned B&B feel: a beautiful historic house set on a farm (the jam at breakfast was grown on the property!) and the hosts were incredibly kind. In the evening, after a fun ski day, the living room—our most crowded space—was filled with us chatting around a 1700s‑style fireplace; the TV was in another room, so the focus was on community and conversation. I also appreciated that it’s less than a mile from my favorite Scottish pub, MacLaomainn’s. The only downside was that the gravel road is very close to town.
