The place sits in a gorgeous spot, the bungalow is great and the garden is beautiful. The owners were super friendly and attentive, clearly caring about their guests’ well‑being. Breakfast was delicious and we felt very comfortable!

If you want the most beautiful, heartwarming local guest‑house experience, this is the spot. The elderly couple running the house are the most caring and hospitable, doing everything they can to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. We feel so lucky to have met such a lovely pair; their stay will 100 % change their lives, and that alone made the experience beautiful. They’re especially grateful for visitors now that war has hit their lives so hard. The room is tidy, clean, and the air‑con works well. The water pressure is typical of Sri Lanka, and we even had a few wildlife visitors—expected in the jungle! Breakfast came at a time that suited us, varied daily, and was super filling; they serve a lot. We’ll miss this place.
