La Mirage Inn - Hollywood

The manager helped us by showing several rooms so we could pick one that was cleaner and quieter, and we appreciated that effort. Still, the overall property looked quite dirty and differed a lot from the photos: the furniture was extremely worn and the room felt uncomfortable and rundown. The location was noisy because the hotel sits right next to the highway. The first room we saw faced the highway; the second faced away but was next to the front desk, so we heard people constantly coming and going. The third room was a bit cleaner and quieter, but still didn’t match the online presentation. Overall, the stay didn’t live up to the pictures and the place needs updating and better cleanliness.

The location is strategic in the Hollywood area, very close to the boulevard, Griffith, and the freeway entrance. Cleaning could be better.

The staff were courteous and the location was good. Parking at $10 a day was a plus, and we were given a room larger than the one we booked. The room’s furnishings were fairly worn.
