The spot was perfect for us, giving easy access to local attractions like Zip World, white water rafting, and Snowdon. The hotel itself is a 16th‑century coaching inn that still keeps many original features. We stayed a full week, but the room felt a bit cramped and had little storage, so it seemed better suited for shorter stays.

The room was fabulous: a four‑poster bed, spa bath, terrace, and balcony. The whole hotel had a lovely ancient vibe, making our anniversary trip extra special. We also appreciated how close it was to Betswy Coyd and Fairy Glen. The staff rang up on the first night asking if we wanted to book dinner, so we didn’t have to plan anything and the meal was delicious. Nothing negative.

The rooms were very nice, high‑end with modern ensuite bathrooms and everything. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great, and we dined at the restaurant both nights. Breakfast was lovely.
