“Good place to stay between stages 11 and 12 on Pekoe Trail”
I felt very welcome, especially with the large pot of tea they offered upon arrival. The evening and breakfast food was nice and plentiful. The staff were very friendly. The room and bathroom were comfortable, and the balcony looked out over the valley. In the evening there was a power cut that lasted all night, although it wasn’t the Inn’s fault—it was very windy. There was no visible sign, so I missed it the first time. It’s expensive by Sri Lankan standards and the location is remote. The internet was sketchy—Wi‑Fi worked but there was no internet connection. I couldn’t pay by credit card and didn’t have enough cash, so I eventually paid by bank transfer (Wise) when I was back in the UK. It’s advisable to bring enough cash.
