It’s a bit far from the tourist district, but it’s cheaper and there’s no price gouging at nearby warungs. An authentic market is nearby. The room was comfortable, the host spoke English well and answered many questions interestingly, and helped arrange a trip to Komodo.

The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable, though everything was a bit tight for storing things. The owner was very friendly and helpful and made a lot of effort to keep us comfortable.

The people were really nice and friendly, very comfortable, and they took us to the airport, which was extremely helpful; there was nothing to complain about.

The place is basic but welcoming, and the owner is incredibly kind and helpful. The location isn’t ideal because you’ll need to take a taxi to both the city centre and the airport; the owner does offer a taxi service, but after a few rides the cost ends up being almost the same as staying overnight…
