The location is good, but after staying there 17 years ago the furniture is still the same old stuff; they care a lot, yet the furnishings need replacing.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was brilliant; the place was nice and quiet from outside noises, but the old carpet smell and the diffuser scent were off‑putting, and the room cleaning wasn’t great.

The family room was spacious with excellent bedding, the huge pool and the incredible breakfast buffet were great, and the staff, especially at the concierge, were adorable; however, the facilities (pool, mini‑golf, small zoo) and breakfast are open to the public for a fee, so there were a lot of people at the pool, the evening buffet, and the breakfast, especially since we were there on a Sunday morning, the day before a national holiday.
