The area is really quiet, which I appreciated, but the shower was a disappointment – low pressure and water temperature kept fluctuating.

The breakfast and the restaurant attached to the inn were tasty and convenient, but a heavy holiday downpour caused a leak right over the bed. They did move us to another chalet, which helped, but the incident was a hassle.

We were assigned a room right next to a playground, with no comfort at all, and the breakfast attendant was visibly irritated. The room hadn't been cleaned; I ended up fetching a broom and a rag to tidy it myself. On top of that, the property is oddly situated, barely a stone's throw from São Lourenço.
