The room seemed newly renovated and the bathroom had been refurbished; it was clean and well maintained. The owner was very friendly and clearly cares about the guests' well‑being. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and we missed nothing. We can recommend the hotel.

The new owner goes out of his way to prepare a tasty breakfast, but the legacy of the place is very problematic. With so much hospitality, we hope the turnaround into an attractive hotel succeeds. The hotel is clearly aging and urgently needs modernization. The bathrooms look like they were built in the middle of the previous century and have been heavily stripped down.

We stayed as a hiking group in a 4‑bedroom room. Everything was simple and functional. The host was very friendly. All was good.
