The hotel sits on a hill in a small village. The drive is very narrow, not suitable for larger cars, but you can park on the large lot by the church a few minutes from the hotel. Our room 3 was well furnished and even had a small balcony with a nice view over the lake and the mountains. The breakfast buffet is generous and good. If you want, you can hike in the area or walk about 20 minutes to the castle and church. Everywhere goes uphill!

The staff were courteous and friendly, the place was quiet, breakfast was plentiful, cleanliness was impeccable, and the attached restaurant had a super chef. The roads in Vercurago are very narrow (though I understand that’s not the hotel’s fault).

Very nice hotel. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and received a free coffee and beer to enjoy on the terrace. We ate at the restaurant both nights and it was fantastic. The first night we were treated to an impromptu tasting of most dishes, which was brilliant. A pleasant walk down to the lake. The only issue was parking, but we had some advance knowledge so we were prepared.
