The location puts you close to the beach and the access is great, though it’s a bit off the main stretch; the caravan itself is a decent size for what it offers. However, the caravan carried a strong dog odor that the air freshener and open windows initially hid, but once the windows were shut the smell spread through every room. The carpet was stained and worn, the formica table was cracked and sharp, and the upholstery was frayed and unclean. Some windows had blinds or shutters that only worked on a few of them, while others couldn’t shut and a few windows and doors had no blinds at all. Sleeping on the sofa bed was tough because of the light, and it was a fair size but very uncomfortable, dirty, and even had a random odd sock from a previous guest. The two single beds were very uncomfortable with springs that could be felt in both. Dog hair was everywhere, and the vacuum’s suction was weak, making it hard to clean. Although the property is pet‑friendly, this wasn’t clear in the booking information, and I wouldn’t have booked if I had known.

We really enjoyed staying in the caravan. It was cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It felt welcoming and homely, and we were very happy with our accommodation. We had a lovely time there and would definitely stay in this caravan again. It was a great base for our holiday and made our stay even more enjoyable

“NOT AT ALL ENJOYABLE. WILL NOT BE BOOKING AGAIN.”

The location was fine, but breakfast wasn’t included. The whole stay felt rough: the carpet was worn and faded, the seating cushions were threadbare, and the kitchen tap barely worked. Pillows had torn seams, and both the heatwave and fridge were non‑functional. The coffee table and main table had seams coming off, making them sharp and unsafe for kids. Overall, the place looked very dated and wasn’t worth the money. There was no reception desk when we arrived, so we had to locate the caravan ourselves. The space between our caravan and the next one was narrower than a legal width, and the first step onto the decking was too high for me and my friend.

The caravan sat close to the beach and was very quiet, and it was clean. I thought £60 for two dogs for two nights was a bit over the top. I didn’t realize there was no bed linen supplied; it wasn’t obvious when booking, though the policy in small print said so later. I had a lot of contact with Holiday Company 2cHolidays to take my money for the dogs, and they could have reminded me that there was no bed linen or a charge for it. The caravan was pretty old and tired, with thread‑bare furniture, but it was functional for a few nights. The site had zero facilities and was just a gravelled plot of land.
