“Stilvolles Übernachten in angenehmer Atmosphäre”

The hotel sits right in the heart of the old town, and the room was huge. The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly. There was a large, secure parking lot. The overall vibe was great. Because we were just passing through and only booked one night, we didn’t use the spa, but it looked very promising. I’d book here again anytime.

“Beautiful hotel in a lovely mediaeval town.”

We were assigned a fabulous room on the top floor that felt more like a suite, with amazing views, a spacious bathroom that had a luxurious bath, and a huge bed. This historic stopover fit perfectly into our journey, and the breakfast was superb and plentiful. The only downside was that we’d rather not have paid for parking in the hotel’s car park.

The bike storage in a dedicated room and the breakfast options and timing were positives. A drawback was that the windows in the room could only be partially opened, so the shutters couldn’t close properly.

The renovated rooms at Le Cure were a plus, but the lack of a lift in the annex was a major drawback that was never mentioned anywhere. The absence of a lift in the annex, which was not disclosed before arrival or at check‑in, was a huge let‑down. On a previous visit we had a small, cheap, dated room in the main building with a lift, so I booked a more expensive, larger room knowing the hotel had a lift. I’m very disappointed that I wasn’t warned beforehand that the annex (where the renovated rooms are) has no lift. The hotel was fully booked, so no alternative room was possible.

“Correct sans plus.”

The hotel’s location near the historic centre was a plus. The breakfast was quite mediocre, and overall cleanliness needs improvement.
