We had a lovely time at Balian; the villa looked stunning and the stay was relaxing, though the beds could be more comfortable; we’d stay again, and Andi, the owner, was very responsive and easy to reach, which was a big help.

The setting was beautiful, the place was clean and comfortable, and Wayan took great care of us; breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed dining, drinking, and playing cards at the communal table; with only two bungalows, my sister and I had the place to ourselves; thanks, and the short walk to the village for dinner was convenient.

The stay was very relaxing, a perfect way to unwind after four weeks in Indonesia; it’s especially nice that there are only two units, so a maximum of four guests, and the kitchen mixer lets you make your own smoothies; unfortunately, the sea view is not good and the air conditioning is weak.

The spot is close to the beach yet tucked in rice fields; the pool is great, breakfast is good, communication is smooth, the staff are friendly, and privacy is abundant—definitely want to book again.
