The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. As an IHG Club member, I found a cheaper rate on Booking than booking directly by phone, which doesn't seem logical.
The hotel sits in a great spot, and the parking entrance and exit are convenient. Breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and hardworking. The rooms were comfortable. However, the guarantee payment that was supposed to be credited to my account several weeks ago hasn't appeared yet, even though they promised it would be transferred within a few days.
The breakfast was excellent, the facilities look beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Nothing to complain about.

I’ve known this hotel for years, and the recent renovation, in my view, has damaged its character. Portugal and this hotel have always stood out for their staff’s kindness, but this place has lost that, especially the breakfast staff who are poorly prepared and inattentive.
