The view was lovely, but at night the barking dogs were annoying; luckily the room was well insulated and we heard nothing.

The property was very beautiful and impeccably maintained, located in a very quiet spot yet within a few minutes by car of restaurants and ferries to nearby islands with stunning beaches; we especially enjoyed the lovingly prepared daily breakfast by Patricia, her scrambled eggs were delicious, and the owner’s warm hospitality made us feel very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff were very friendly, Patricia made a fantastic breakfast and took care of everything for guests, Oliver the owner gladly offered great tips on must-see spots, the guesthouse is a bit quieter and well equipped, the pool in the lovingly designed setting is huge and very relaxing for adults only, renting a car is ideal for excursions and meeting locals; however, after a few days the breakfast lost some variety, though it was always good and they happily offered a third cup of coffee as a refill.

“Lekker relaxt.”

The outdoor area, nice pool, and well‑maintained garden were great; it was wonderful that we were allowed to stay on our last day until we headed to the airport, the host and hostess were extremely friendly and helpful, but the breakfast could have been more varied and the room was basic.
