“Mauvaise expérience”

The staff were unpleasant, the breakfast was awful, and the owner kept cats in the hotel without considering guests who might be allergic. The staff were not warm, especially the one at the restaurant, animals lived in the hotel, and the Wi‑Fi was poor.

“Good value for money”

The staff were very nice and helpful, everyone spoke English fluently, and it’s only a 2‑minute walk to the airport shuttle bus stop to Ercan and a 1‑km walk to the regional bus station that serves places like Girne, so it’s an ideal spot if you want to explore the occupied northern part of Cyprus. A supermarket and various restaurants are just around the corner. The reception area and rooftop bar are great, and the hotel offers good value for money. You can make tea and instant coffee in your room and there’s a fridge available. The hotel is a 3‑km walk from Nicosia‑old town, and a taxi from the border to the hotel costs 10 Euro. Sometimes there are parties on the rooftop or in the ballroom, mainly on weekends. During our stay the party ended at midnight, so that didn’t bother us.

Clean and comfortable.

I booked without breakfast. The place was very noisy because of a night club; a car arrived early in the morning to collect trash, and it sounded like the building was being broken down. The corridor was being painted, and I was given a room from where the painting started. Sparks flew from the hair dryer, almost giving me an electric shock.

“Highly recommend”

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and they treated me specially because I was pregnant.
