Unexpectedly staying 5 nights because a cyclone delayed our ferry, I was pleasantly surprised to spend a few days in such a beautiful place. It turned a stressful relocation into a much‑needed short holiday, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed our time at Seaglass Cottage; the water views were great and the two‑storey, two‑bathroom private apartment with its own deck felt very comfortable. Beach‑themed décor added charm, and Petra made communication easy, sending us the Door Entry codes right on arrival. No problems arose, though if you’re coming by ferry or public transport it helps to bring food since there’s no grocery store nearby. The Chocolate Dayz Café closes at 3 pm, Days Bay Pavilion serves meals until about 7 pm, and otherwise only O’Malleys Bar & Kitchen is within walking distance for evening meals.

Views, location, facilities, lovely owner. We didn’t have enough time to sit and appreciate it, it was a busy couple of days. Stairs are very narrow but only a small issue

The view, proximity to the sea and cafés, pleasant interior, and beautiful bed linen were all excellent. The only small drawback is that there isn’t much space to put items by the handbasin; a little shelf would make a big difference. Otherwise everything was fine.
