Hotel Mango Garden

The hotel is in a great spot near the lake and just a quick walk into the city centre. The breakfast, which feels more like a brunch, is huge and delicious.

The welcome was friendly (as is common in Sri Lanka). The room was average quality, the private bathroom was on the landing, and the hotel had no charm. In short, nothing spectacular and no deal‑breaking flaws.

The staff were kind and the room was clean and spacious. Nothing to add.

The terrace is nice and the place is quiet, the common areas are old-fashioned but charming. The rooms and bathrooms are outdated; the rooms have glass panels that open onto the hallway, and there are cockroaches in the bathrooms 😅

The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable, super clean, and the location is not a drawback.
