There was a smell of an old, unheated house, and we had to turn on the heating ourselves in the room, bathroom, and kitchen.

I checked in without any hassle and the kitchen was fully equipped and usable; there’s a parking spot right on the property and the city centre is a pleasant walk away, plus a lovely garden with seating areas. The only downside was that the rooms were fairly noisy inside the building, probably because there’s no foot‑fall insulation.

Breakfast could be added for an extra fee, but unfortunately it was too late for us to notice that option. The room was sweet and spacious, parking was available in the courtyard, and the host was welcoming. The shared bathroom felt a bit worn out and the kitchen table only accommodated two people.
