Everything was great—an amazing experience with plenty of hikes and nearby cities, and the hosts were lovely. Fresh eggs, juice, milk, and jam were fantastic, making it a 10/10 stay. However, the hut gets very warm at night, so you need to open the window, and without a screen, bugs can get in.
I loved how calm and serene the place was, and Caroline made a great host; I can’t wait to come back.
The property is a beautiful, quiet spot that feels like an old mobile home, spotless and fully equipped for self‑sufficiency. Caroline was a very friendly host who welcomed us with bread, butter, jam, and fresh eggs from her own chickens. The area is lovely, though it’s hard to reach without a car. It’s ideal for unwinding and escaping everyday rush. The drive to Galway takes about 1 hour.
