Gasthaus Alte Brauerei

The hostel’s location is great for exploring southern Germany and especially Europa-Park, the host is welcoming, the international breakfast is solid, and the option to take food out for the day is very appreciated. However, the various information displays (wall posters, in‑room notices) are neither in French nor in English, which is a pity if you don’t understand German. The décor feels cluttered and some spider webs are visible, but the rooms themselves are tidy and clean.

“Wir würden das Hotel immer wieder buchen, da es einfach etwas anders ist als andere.”

The host was very friendly and warm, and the hotel has a certain charm as an older house with rustic interior, yet it feels very cozy. Our room had a bedroom, a living area, and a bathroom with a shower. The mattresses were very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was served at the table and was more than enough. We would book this small hotel again. The only complaint was that the shower could have been a bit larger, but overall it worked fine.

“Rundum zufrieden”

The hosts were super warm, everything was very clean and nicely presented, the breakfast was delicious and had everything you need, and the value for money was top.

Die Gastgeberin war unheimlich freundlich und nett, das Frühstück ließ absolut keine Wünsche offen. Die Matratze war sehr bequem, die Zimmer nett gemacht. Ist halt ein altes Gebäude. Man sollte nicht das Ritz erwarten. Aber die Herzlichkeit war überwältigend. Gerne wieder 😃
