Excellent overall, but the pool water felt a bit cold.

The location and building were great, yet the room food on the second floor of the novices was noisy from rooftop air‑compressors, and the room lighting and ventilation were poor.

The building is architecturally excellent and wonderfully preserved, offering a true experience; the hotel is fantastic, and I really liked everything.

The building is magnificent, the room is very spacious and well sound‑proofed, with luxurious bedding, and the hidden pool and gardens in the city center are a luxury; however, the reception was rather cold, the stay was polluted by constant privatizations that neutralized the chapel in the middle of the hotel, produced insane noise (sound tests and intrusive music), and cut off pool access, making the experience feel more like a club than a palace.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of all the major parts of the city, and the hotel porters were very friendly, helpful with directions, and handled our luggage; the beds were very comfortable and the décor is beautifully done, but our room was very small, the open window in the bathroom leading to the main room was not liked at all, and because the hotel is pricey, the room size was disappointing with little space to unpack and move around; reception was okay but not overly welcoming at arrival or departure, and the stairs mean you’ll need help with your luggage.
