The location was good and we were on the shopping street, which was quieter than the main street. We heard more noise from the main street than from the people and music in the shopping area. A short walk led to a nice grassy area with boating docks and kayaks. The building has two sections; the one with the lobby is nicer because it has a woodsy feel and a patio with pine trees, but we weren’t in that one. There’s a cute front sitting area in the lobby, but since the restaurant wasn’t open we didn’t use it. The room had no air or heat, and it was the smallest hotel room I’ve ever been in. We had a double and a queen bed for three people and a large dog, and there was just enough space to fit another double bed—nothing else. There was no space to put suitcases; an IKEA‑style closet built into the wall was about a foot deep and useless. No curtains to block light, only blinds. The bathroom had no counter space. If you’re over 5 ft tall you’ll have to squat to get under the shower head. The restaurant wasn’t open, and the ceiling above us squeaked loudly whenever someone walked on it.
