Hotel Fischerhaus made for a pleasant stay in lovely Starnberg, with nice décor, a comfortable bed, and a fresh breakfast in a small outdoor eating area that guests could use. The lack of a lift meant we had to climb many stairs with suitcases.

The location is about a one‑minute walk to the lake, the staff are very friendly, and parking is free.

The staff were very nice and helpful, breakfast was very generous, the accommodation was well equipped, and the hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk to the promenade, the train station, and the town centre. The only downside: the Wi‑Fi doesn’t work properly.
