Arriving on our own is very convenient. The view is superb. The bathrooms are clean. The dome has held up well, but unfortunately the transparent part is so damaged that we can’t appreciate the sky. Too bad.

The view from the mini‑terrace is calm, and we arrived on our own. The dome’s fabric that lets you see the stars is opaque, so you can’t enjoy the sky from inside the dome… a shame, because we came specifically to experience that!

The main highlight is the magical view all around us. The spot is quiet and, importantly, has very few mosquitoes. The requested extra bed was set up and better than expected. The shared toilets and bathroom were clean. We didn’t use the common lounge that has all the equipment (fridge, microwave, sink…). The coolness of the upper rooms helped us sleep well (we live in the Port). With the directions given, the place is easy to find. Obviously you need a vehicle that can handle the island’s beautiful, rugged paths. It’s 18 minutes from HELL BOURG and very close to SALAZIE. We were not disappointed; the description is accurate.

We couldn’t see the sky because the upper part that should view the sky was dirty. There are water leaks and mosquitoes.

The view of the Salazie cirque, the quirky vibe of the accommodation, and the spacious dome were great. The shower was hot, the shared kitchen was equipped, and the area was quiet. The lawn bowling area right in front of the dome’s entrance isn’t a good idea because we came in full of gravel. We arrived at 8 p.m. in the middle of the night and the dome door was wide open, so spiders and night moths waited inside. It would have been better to keep it closed. Remember it’s a nature stay, so it’s not fully insect‑proof (that’s normal).
