The countryside setting was peaceful, and the swimming pool was beautiful. Seeing cattle among the olive groves was a pleasant surprise. Maria and Marcella provided excellent breakfasts and answered all our questions about nearby dining and attractions. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The Masseria was beautifully maintained, the staff and family were very accommodating, and the stay was wonderful. We’ll gladly return.

My wife and I experienced a truly peaceful stay at Masseria Pilano—it was clean, comfortable, and impeccably kept. The pool is fantastic and the surroundings are spectacular, with plenty of animals around (cats, cows, and dogs) that add to the tranquil, rural farmhouse vibe. Breakfast is fantastic and full of local produce. It’s an excellent base for exploring the area, with easy driving access to Crispiano, Martina Franca, and other nearby sights. Manuela and her family were extremely kind, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Puglia and would definitely come back.

During our 3‑night stay there was an event running each evening until around 11:30pm, which significantly impacted our stay because the noise carried into the rooms. Had we known about the event beforehand, we would not have booked. The toilet in our room was also continuously running; we informed the host but never received a response or any follow‑up, which was disappointing. Parking was another challenge, as no spaces were reserved for hotel guests. While the event was on, it became quite difficult to find a car space when returning from dinner one night. During the day there was a hens party around the pool, which affected our ability to relax and enjoy the facilities. Overall, our expectation of a quiet countryside stay wasn’t met on this occasion. If you don’t mind noise or would be happy to join the event atmosphere, the accommodation itself would be perfect—the rooms were spacious and we really enjoyed the breakfast each morning.
