The hotel sits close to the MRT station and Ximending, making transport, shopping, dining and entertainment extremely convenient. The staff were polite and friendly, and the bottled water was already chilled in the fridge so I could drink it straight away. Hot water in the bathroom arrived quickly and with strong pressure, so you hardly have to wait; I’d suggest turning on the cold tap first and then slowly adding hot water to get the right temperature. The only downside was that there were just two sockets – one by the bedside and one in the bathroom – and the jacuzzi only offered a soaking function, lacking the massage feature.

The staff were courteous and helpful, but the hallway smelled of smoke, the bathtub was broken and the sound insulation was poor.

The staff were friendly and the location was great. Unfortunately, there was no cover in the shower, which made the bathroom feel wet.
