“Bonito precisa mantenimiento y una mejor atencion”
I liked how close the place was to the disembarkation point, just a few minutes on foot, and the little cabin‑style houses felt cozy. The cabins came with a mini‑fridge, electric boiler, stove and TV. When I asked about walking around the island to reach Brasilia, the staff kindly explained how to do it. I didn’t appreciate that nobody greeted us because there is no reception; we were given no arrival instructions. When I arrived, there was no bell, the door was locked, and a person who looked like an employee helped us in. We waited in the courtyard, a person came out and only asked my name, without requesting any documents. He took us to the cabin and I never saw him again during our 2‑night, 3‑day stay. I wrote to the owner for two reasons: first, the internet was very unstable and we couldn’t send messages normally because they took a long time to arrive. She told me that the island’s internet is generally bad. Second, I reported a scary incident where the shower connection had burnt, blackened, and melted cables, posing an electric shock risk. We only used the shower once and very quickly to avoid any danger. I asked her to have it checked, and she replied much later (because of the internet delay) and offered to fix it. However, by the day we left the issue was still unresolved and we couldn’t use the shower again.
