The location was convenient and easy to reach, and the staff were friendly. The pool was a plus. However, there was no hot water in our room, so we had to go to another room for a hot shower.

We stayed in a super cute treehouse that was all ours, complete with a cooker and a private toilet—though the shower was separate and shared. The pool was a huge bonus for an afternoon dip to beat the heat, and the little gym was a nice touch. The kitchen in our room was well stocked and the fridge was huge. Our whole terrace was lush; we loved the hammock and watching the sunset from there. The room got pretty hot even with the fan blasting, and because it sits next to a chicken/turkey farm we could hear them, but that’s to be expected anywhere.

I appreciated the fridge with water and beer that you could take any time, as long as you tracked your consumption, and the view from the terrace. I disliked that it wasn’t beachfront; you had to walk about 15 minutes to get to the beach. I also disliked how Nayeli, one of the hosts, treated us, claiming we left condoms in another room and took things from the fridge without tracking them. She was awfully mean, yelling that it was her house, and this all started because we were allowed to use another room’s shower (we didn’t have one in our restroom), but it ended up worse because we were accused of things we didn’t do.
