I loved the view from our room—mountains and the pool/hot tub were visible. The jets on the hot tub were broken and one elevator was out of order, but it was repaired on the day we left.

The Lodge was a great place to stay; the room was very nice, the pool area beautiful, and we enjoyed a hike that we could start right from the lodge. The Commons were enjoyable and I’m looking forward to the restaurants opening. We dined at the winery, and the food and service were amazing. After the initial hiccup, the rest of the trip was a lot of fun. I booked this room about three weeks before arrival. I had questions because the listing on Booking was confusing and I didn’t get a reply. Five days before departure I sent another email, still no response. I called and left a message, but no return call. When we arrived, Booking hadn’t sent the reservation to the hotel, so the paperwork I had was the only thing they used to issue us keys. They warned us the room might not be clean. The room was indeed unclean; it took two attempts to get the owner involved, who seemed unaware of the situation. Eventually the room was cleaned, but we lost the whole afternoon dealing with this.

The unit is perfectly situated with direct mountain views and sits just above the pool. The condo is in the same building as the hotel rooms—the main lodge. Steve, the owner and property manager, was great when we reached out with an issue. Skip the lodge food and head into town.

The property and staff were really awesome, and the amenities were solid with a pool, plenty of trails, and great food that offered beautiful mountain views. However, we did notice a few wet towels in the restroom and the trash had already been emptied.

The view was spectacular and the village location was convenient; the unit itself was spacious, and the common lobby areas were well done and roomy. The lounge, restaurant, pool, and spa were all well appointed, with the pool and spa on the view side of the property. The pool was directly below the unit, which caused some sound travel and light to shine into the windows. The unit needed repairs: the entry closet door track had come loose from the frame and was scraping the wood floor, the under‑cabinet lights in the kitchen wouldn’t turn on, and the bedroom curtain was missing a pull pole and had come loose from the rod.
