It was in the centre. The room was nice but small, the bathroom was small, and I found the shower box broken and had difficulty getting in; I had to climb over the toilet because the other side was broken. I reported it that same day but nothing was done. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work at all, and the air‑conditioner didn’t blow enough air, making it hard to sleep.
The hotel is in a great location. The food is very good, but portions are not generous.
“Decepción”
David at the front desk was friendly, but the hotel feels very outdated, far below its four‑star claim, with almost no Wi‑Fi, weak old air‑conditioning, and a bathroom partition that wouldn’t open. Breakfast was mediocre and the place clearly needs renovations.
“Terribile, altamente sconsigliato”
Alessandra at reception was pleasant, but everything else felt cheap and dirty. To reach the room you had to descend two very high, unsafe steps without a handrail and then climb three more equally risky steps. The room was dark, the bed hard, the air‑conditioning broken and not cooling at all while it was 40 °C outside, the curtain was torn, towels felt like sandpaper, and the shower felt claustrophobic. The advertised “comfort zone” kit turned out to be low‑quality soaps, and instead of a hair‑dryer there was a useless “tube” that didn’t dry anything. I asked for a room with a balcony or at least a large window and was told none were available, even though the website showed them – odd. The whole property felt old and poorly maintained. Breakfast required going down to a cellar via a very steep stair, and when I asked if I could eat outside on the patio I was told yes, but I had to bring my own food from the cellar. They also advertised an airport shuttle, but it was an external service: you get a phone number, pay the driver directly and receive no receipt. I left after about half an hour, booked elsewhere, and got no refund for the night.
“Nonsat infatti”
Hi, I just got back from vacation and I don’t recommend the half‑board option, which means no drinks, no side dishes, and the room has no curtain, which is a bit of a privacy issue in the hotel rooms. I thank the cleaning ladies and also the blonde receptionist, I forgot her name, but many greetings. I expected more from dinner.
