The treehouse was spotless and smelled of fresh wood as soon as I entered; the afternoon tea was generous and the breakfast set was delicious, though the kids kept moving around and that was a bit distracting.

Lovely!! Enjoyed the rural environment, charming ambiance, delicious breakfasts, and excellent service. Treehouses with slides and swings are awesome. There were 2 puppies to visit one day, which was a delight. The recommended taxi and the English-speaking car service were great and necessary for seeing Sun Moon lake and other attractions. That said, there was also a beautiful (but hilly!) local hike we enjoyed directly from the hotel. I recommend staying. :). Husband & I stayed a week, so the 2 different cooked breakfasts (alternating days) became a little repetitive, but my husband asked for cereal, and the kind staff gave him excellent granola (for free!)
