“A fuir .”
The proximity to the MILE END metro and the hot water heating were positives. However, the apartment’s condition was far from what the listing photos showed. Cleanliness was completely inadequate. The shared bathroom had only one bath mat for all four rooms. The second bathroom was unusable, with electrical wires near a water source. The carpet and furniture were broken, the kitchen cabinets had broken doors, and the walls were dirty. In room 4, the bed was so close to falling over with any movement, and the ceiling was falling apart with stains and damage from punches or feet on the door. Only the recovery code worked for the downstairs door. The apartment tilted, so when something fell it rolled to the other side of the room. The stairs were extremely narrow, making it hard to carry a suitcase up. The roommates were noisy, and it seemed no one had learned to flush the toilet. During a week’s stay, we weren’t given new bathroom towels. The duvet cover didn’t hold properly, which could serve as a blanket. If you plan to use the washing machine, good luck—after three days it was occupied with laundry left in front of the bathroom, leaving residue that wasn’t even cleaned. There was no storage in our room—no dresser, no closet, just the bed, a table, and two chairs. The owner should stop renting until the apartment is cleaned and restored. I could only post four photos in my review, but there’s so much more to share: the oven and fridge were in a deplorable state of cleanliness, the microwave was also bad—everything needs a complete overhaul.
