I was on a business trip to Guangzhou and chose Baytop Living of Guangzhou Drimin House Hotel mainly because of the gym. The cross‑trainer was broken the whole two‑week stay and never got fixed, even after I mentioned it a few times. They promised a free shuttle to the Canton Fair, but it only ran during Phase 1; for Phase 2 they offered a one‑day taxi instead, which was a let‑down and made getting to the fair a hassle.

The bed was super clean and the staff were genuinely helpful and nice, but the hotel has a crazy mix of room styles that makes it hard for anyone who can’t climb stairs.
