The room was spacious and comfortable. It was disappointing that the toilet didn’t have a washlet.

Even though the hotel is close to the station and the surrounding scenery is excellent, the overall stagnant atmosphere of Bentenzima feels wasteful; a revival plan and activation measures are urgently needed. The sauna is closed and the beach access gate is neglected – the place needs redevelopment.

The view of the Fukuoka Sea from Benten Island was spectacular. The parking layout was confusing.

The 9th‑floor studio offered a fantastic view and plenty of space. It’s hard to see why some reviews are so negative, especially since there’s a good Korean restaurant right next door. The room, however, looks a bit faded and could use some upgrades.
