“Excellent hotel.”
The staff were great, helpful, and friendly, the facilities were modern, the room was excellent and very clean, the Wi‑Fi was good, and the breakfast options were very good in a pleasant environment; the value for money was superb. The hotel is right in a very modern, large shopping centre with many fast‑food outlets and higher‑quality options like Nono. The bus service into the centre is great, literally a 1‑minute walk from the hotel; it’s 4 miles, 30 minutes, for 40 lek. The hotel can arrange a taxi and a return taxi from the centre with a reputable company; the taxi costs about 700 lek each way. Parking is free, but it can be tricky to find when you first arrive; we came by hire car from Berat and wanted to avoid driving in central Tirana. We met several friendly Albanian people who helped us when we needed it. The only downside was a group of noisy, inconsiderate Japanese tourists who left at 6 am one morning without caring about other guests.
