“Frustrating”

I booked a king SUITE with a separate couch area, a microwave and a refrigerator, and the check‑in was listed for 4 pm. When I arrived the staff told me none of the rooms were ready because they were hosting an event that day, and they never warned me about the delay beforehand. I sat in the lobby for almost two hours until a room was finally available. Instead of the SUITE I paid extra for, they handed me a standard double queen room with no microwave and a refrigerator that barely kept things cold. I brought this to the front desk, but the attendant said there was nothing they could do and that no manager or supervisor would be on site until Monday, well after I was leaving the state. I’m extremely upset about the whole situation.

The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful, but the room had a strange odor. When my wife took a shower she grabbed a towel that looked stained with blood, so we had to use hand towels to dry off. At least it was just a one‑night stay. The bed was worn out and clearly needs replacement.

“Not a happy customer”

The air conditioning in the room worked, but the smell of bleach was strong, and the beds and pillows were off. There were no USB plugs for charging phones, no washcloths in the bathroom, and the toilet seat was so low it felt like a kiddie toilet. Breakfast was overpriced for the items that were actually available.

“We had a great at the Holiday Inn while we were in town for the Coke Zero 400!”

Its proximity to Daytona International Speedway and Buc‑ees was a big plus, and the staff were amazing, so I rate it 10.0/10.
