It was perfect for a local event. There’s a nearby train station if you want to head into Cologne, though there isn’t much else close by. We had a car so that wasn’t an issue. The staff were efficient and responded quickly to a request we had.

Breakfast was solid and the restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. They handled calmly the booking mistake for the second day’s breakfast. The room was large with a balcony, the concept seemed credible and sustainable, and there was a coffee machine in the room for the first morning coffee. Unfortunately, the second day’s breakfast was not booked for me, as it was for other guests. When the hotel was busy, parking spots were scarce. The electric‑car charger was quite expensive. The room was missing a hair dryer.

The location is nice and quiet, the room is comfortable, and the exterior blinds are a highlight.

Everything was perfect, except the noise at night.

Check‑in worked smoothly through the terminal outside the door even after the reception had closed.
