I would give it 11 if I could :). The list of things I like is really long! Especially the building itself - it’s like sleeping in a museum. It’s great that all the rooms are accessible, so you can wander around and learn about its history. Beautiful garden to enjoy (and a lovely cat!), great staff, so helpful and ready to answer any questions. The beds are really comfy, showers clean, and it’s so convenient to have breakfast on site. And of course such value for money!. I was waiting for ghosts, but there weren't any :)
“Indimenticabile!”
The location is incredible, suggestive, surrounded by greenery. The staff is extremely kind, friendly, and super helpful. A truly unique experience I recommend at least once in a lifetime! A car is essential to explore the surroundings (for example, Puzzlewood), but it’s worth stopping for an afternoon at the castle and enjoying the peace and silence. The room and bathrooms are clean, the kitchen very convenient (there’s a mini‑market a few steps away). The only suggestion: I would indicate more clearly how to reach the property, as it’s very difficult if you don’t have a car.
“Management-Good,Bed-comfy,shower and breakfast-quite good,overall value for money-Excellent.”
Staying in a castle was a unique experience, but the place wasn’t as clean as it could have been, even though it was cheap.
The staff’s friendliness, especially the woman at breakfast, was remarkable – I don’t speak English and she helped me through a translator, very kind. It’s far away, you need a taxi or private vehicle… I walked from where the bus dropped me off, and I had to climb for 53 minutes.
“Loved it here”
I kept this spot to myself because it’s just that good— the guy at the front desk was amazing ❤️, super welcoming and helpful. Thank you!
