For the price, the room was pretty good for a one‑night stay. It was a bit smoky and the mattress collapsed on the sides.

I asked for an extra blanket and they didn’t give it. The guard made remarks because we checked in late.

The courtyard is comfy and well‑kept. The room was clean and had water, coffee, and tea. You can’t always book the sauna; it seems there isn’t enough staff to heat it.

I stayed at Port Royal for a single night and left thoroughly satisfied with the choice. The complex feels modern and tidy, and my room was clean and cozy. The staff greeted me warmly, and having a private parking lot on the premises was a big plus. The town of Tulchin itself turned out to be incredibly interesting and atmospheric, making me want to return for a longer stay. I definitely recommend this hotel; it offers an excellent price‑to‑quality ratio!

First, I was surprised by how the hotel classified our room: “standard two‑person luxury room,” which is what we booked. A standard two‑person room and a “luxury” room are two distinct categories that differ in size, number of rooms, and comfort level. The two‑person “Standard” room we stayed in does not resemble a “Luxury” room at all. Still, thank you for the “compliment” in the form of tea and coffee sachets kindly provided by the hotel. However, there was nowhere to sit and drink that tea except on the old, worn mattress on the bed, which is uncomfortable to sit or sleep on. The room had no table or any chairs.
