The breakfast was good, the hotel and room were clean, the grounds were pretty, and the staff were friendly. A special thanks to manager Anise, who handled all questions quickly and professionally. The hotel feels worn out and needs renovation, and there was a lack of leisure options, evening events, and bar music, so there was nothing to do at night.

Breakfast was wonderful with a huge variety and the ability to order. The kitchen offers not only Chinese but also European dishes. Fresh fruit, freshly cooked hot meals, and freshly squeezed juices are always available, and the loose leaf tea is brewed without any sachets. The only serious drawback, in my view, is that some guests smoked right at their tables—only local citizens—and this contradicts the global trend toward smoking bans and at least prohibiting smoking in public places. Another wish is to hire more staff who speak English, as occasional misunderstandings arose due to a lack of English-speaking employees.

The grounds are huge, green and beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous and breakfast is excellent. I should note that I was there from 28.8.25 to 1.9.25, just after a major hurricane that hit on 25.8.25, and by the time I arrived the beach was completely unusable and not even being cleared; I think the hotel should have warned us about this serious issue before our arrival and perhaps offered some compensation. As a result we never set foot on the beach during our four‑day stay. We had moved here from Marriott Yalong Bay, where the beach had already been restored by 25.8.25. While the weather is beyond anyone’s control, a hotel of this caliber ought to have informed guests of possible inconveniences beforehand.

The hotel is located in a beautiful bay, with a nice central area. We visited many places with my wife, but the hotel did not deliver a shock. We were assigned to a building where no one lived, which felt like a horror film. One issue was walking to the room through empty corridors. Another was the lack of staff; room service was non‑existent and the staff did not speak English, even basic words. The room smelled of mold and everything felt very tired. After a few hours, we were exhausted and didn't sleep until 4 am. :((( The breakfast was mediocre. The overall rest was somewhat ruined. PS: Russian‑speaking manager Alice tried to fix the situation but, aside from a late checkout and a transfer to another hotel, she offered nothing substantial. Even compensation for that awful day was decided. I do not recommend the hotel.
