The location is very central; the car park was a bit of a walk but the weather was fine so it didn’t matter. Breakfast isn’t included, but there are several places nearby that offer it. It was a little noisy with large trucks passing through the town.

The room was beautiful, the bed comfy and the toiletries excellent, but we had to cross the road from the main building to be greeted by a terrible fish smell from the oriental restaurant above our room; the odor lingered on our clothes the next day and we had to wash them immediately. We left early because we couldn't endure staying in that room any longer. Minor issues included a bathroom extractor fan that didn’t work, turning the room into a sauna, and nobody answering the “emergency support” number when we called the next day to return our key—defeating the purpose of having one.

It’s great if you want something central; the rooms are spacious and clean. However, I wasn’t told that no one would be present at check‑out and there were no instructions on where to leave my key card. I’m still waiting for the hotel to provide the invoice, and the fridge started making an awful noise in the middle of the night. No advice was given on where to park; as a non‑local, a postcode for a nearby car park would have been super helpful.

The bed, linen, towels, and toiletries were high quality, but the temperature knob needed tightening because it wouldn’t let you adjust the temperature.
