The holiday cottage “La Somadita Tinizara” is a charming house with a high comfort factor. We were thrilled by how thoughtfully everything was prepared, from the spare toothbrush to laundry detergent to cotton pads—every tiny detail was considered. You feel welcome instantly. The accommodation is absolutely quiet and idyllic. It was the perfect starting point for varied hikes with different demands and great nature experiences. The pool water was also wonderfully refreshing after a long day on the feet. Besides hiking and other island explorations, you can simply stay on the property, gaze into the distance (beautiful sunsets, impressive starry sky), and let your soul unwind with a good book. Renting a car is definitely useful to explore the island flexibly. In just a few minutes you reach a supermarket and a weekend market (Mercadillo de Puntagorda: Saturday and Sunday) with fresh local products. For a cool drink or tasty coffee there’s a very friendly authentic “Bar Garome,” which is also reachable on foot in about 20 minutes. The public bus departs here (line 110 connects Los Llanos de Aridane with Puntagorda and stops directly in Tinizara). The host is incredibly friendly and uncomplicated. Communication has been clear, reliable, and warm from the start. Only a few small things are a bit dated. An unequivocal recommendation for all who seek peace with attractive value.

We loved everything about the place. 🤩 It feels like a paradise on earth, with a stunning garden full of seating areas and a pool. The apartment is over‑standardly equipped – everything we needed was available, from plenty of dishes, towels, a coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, to little extras like laundry pods, foil, parchment paper, and even a telescope. Everything was clean and functional. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Thanks a lot, it was a fantastic holiday. 👍

“Duizenden sterren!”

De locatie is waanzinnig. Het uitzicht is geweldig mooi. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Met meerdere plekken om te zitten. De sterrenhemel én de Melkweg, waarvoor we de wekker om 3.00u hebben gezet heeft al.onze verwachtingen overtroffen. Als we dan toch iets moeten bedenken: Het huisje is, net als de meeste Spaanse finca's wat muffig. Wij hadden preventief geurstokjes mee genomen. Maar die waren al aanwezig. Eigenlijk een pluspunt dus

“Alle in allem Schöner Ort zum Loslassen Ruhe und viel Natur mit tollen Blick.”

It was very nice. The location was great. The kitchen was very well equipped. It was also nice that the spices, coffee, tea, and other necessities like toilet paper and laundry detergent were available on site, which is always a challenge when traveling by plane. The bed could be larger, the mattress softer, and we would have liked two additional single blankets. We were there in May, and it was still quite cool, especially at night. As someone from Northern Europe, it’s very unusual to sleep with only one blanket and still feel light. We also found that the house lacks a fireplace; we didn’t have a TV but a fireplace. When the weather was bad, the house was damp and cool, but on good days it was fine because we only stayed outside.

“Paradise!”

The house is exactly the kind of place you’d dream of on a beautiful exotic island. We would have liked to chat with the wonderful owner, Alberto, a bit more, but we only had two nights.
